The Sign
Blog 2

It is all alone with visitors as few as the deepest parts of the forest. Its black silhouette stands in the sun at the end of the three months or so of darkness at the North Pole. If that was a window on the north side it would be a great place to view the local scenery.
So cold and bleak yet says more in one sentence than we do in a whole paragraph. It probably wants to come inside with us to get warm, but it and I both know that will never happen. I somehow thanks to MR. Josh Brewer have become almost attached to this cold lonely piece of unappreciated art. Its sole purpose is to speak to us, but no one ever speaks back. If they did we would think that they were as crazy as I am writing 450 words about the cold piece of steel that, my English teacher forced me to go out in the freezing cold to stare at the lonely tower of advertisement. Not just once, but twice in one day I’m not sure what is going through his mind, but he’s the teacher so ill be a good boy and do as I am told.
I really can’t see the other side to see what it says, so let’s imagine maybe a beer commercial, no that would not be the case this time of year how about fireplaces that would suite me rite about now. There are 3 hotels in the nearby area that could be a possibility, there are 3 restaurants that would be appropriate, or just maybe by coincidence it is telling people about the Ivy-Tech which I am attending.
I bet MR. Brewer would freak if he new we out here smoking ha ha!!! Anyway this sign I speak of could be telling us any number of things, this I know for sure it is doing its job everyday either informing us about something, or selling us something, probably something we don’t even need. That’s what its main purpose is I imagine, selling us things we don’t need. Companies pay big money to put there product up there, so if they are paying big money you know they are making big money, off of guess who, us.
I wonder how long it took to pay for itself I can imagine that a structure as big as that is very expensive and I imagine it took along time to make that money back. That’s the way it works though kind of like nature one big cycle, someone gets paid to build it they spend money, someone gets paid to rent it they spend money, someone makes money off of what it says then they spend money. Such is the cycle of money, and the purpose of the huge sign.
